The public is being advised to take measures by the Hawaii Department of Health, which is reporting high levels of COVID-19 activity throughout the state.
This afternoon, the state released its weekly statistics for the days of June 4–10, showing a total of 1,330 active cases throughout the state. There were 22 more cases last week than there were the prior seven-day average of 172 cases.
However, the only county showing a decrease in cases is Kaua’i County.
The average instance over the last seven days is 12, down one from the week before. With 84 active cases, the Garden Isle likewise has the fewest number of instances.

The COVID-19 disease activity level, or high activity level, is displayed in red on the DOH Respiratory Disease Dashboard. This indicates that the virus is circulating at a higher rate than it has historically.
