Bequant, a provider of digital asset services, has introduced a capital introduction platform for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and cryptocurrency hedge funds.
Bequant, which offers institutional clients a premium brokerage service, said that it will distribute its cash to traders and investors on the platform.
According to the company, the platform is made for asset allocators including fund of funds, family offices, and high net worth individuals (HNWIs) and cryptocurrency hedge funds.
Investment banks, wealth management companies, and securities dealers provide prime brokerage services to hedge funds, which require the ability to borrow cash and securities in order to make investments and generate an absolute return.
George Zarya, the CEO and creator of Bequant, stated, “Our objective is to capitalize on the software and network we’ve built within the crypto trading community to achieve new milestones in the industry.”
According to Bequant, the launch of the capital introduction platform is a “strategic pivot” that reaffirms its dedication to provide funding for asset management businesses across all business cycles.
Partnership Between Fireblocks and Bequant
Bequant claims to have developed systems to manage assets across all liquidity pools on more than thirty decentralized exchanges (DEXes), fifteen centralised exchanges, and more than twelve OTC liquidity providers.
The company locks its clients’ assets into DeFi smart contracts and grants them access to the over $72.5 billion in liquidity that is now locked in DeFi through the usage of Fireblocks.
Both Chana Kanzen from the Digital Wealth Fund and Ron Akram, co-founder and co-managing principal of hedge fund Isla Capital, have used the Bequant capital introduction platform.
In a review posted on the Bequant capital introduction platform website, Kanzen remarked, “It’s been really interesting to be here to connect with people from the traditional finance sector who are obviously interested in the opportunities that the crypto space has to offer.”
Akram expressed his admiration for Bequant’s ability to bring together important parties with sincere and responsible managers and allocators.
