The China-based company, which specializes in charging technologies, has operations in 146 nations globally.
Rabat: Anker Innovations, a multinational brand that specializes in charging technologies, is aiming to do more than just penetrate the Moroccan market when it enters the country.
By the end of June, Anker, which is present in 146 countries worldwide, will have its equipment on sale at several Moroccan points of sale, such as Virgin Megastores, Electroplanet, Marjane, and others.
The Chinese company is an expert in wall and portable charging, wireless charging, and car charging.
The debut comes at a time when Morocco is embracing new technologies as part of its digitalization reforms and boosting its electric car industry.
The North African kingdom has been heavily investing to position itself as a leader in the digitization sector and seeks to continue to attract hundreds of multinational companies active in the sector.
This determination was renewed recently during Morocco’s hosting of GITEX Africa 2024, the largest tech show on the continent, bringing together exhibitors and participants from many countries.
Anker, with over 200 million users as of now, participated in the tech summit, which took place in Marrakech on May 29-31.
During its participation, Anker shared its innovations and latest technology products with a diverse Moroccan audience.
On the fringes of GITEX Africa, Mohammed Abid Khan, General Manager of Anker Innovations Morocco, discussed the company’s ambition with Morocco World News (MWN).
Khan highlighted the approach taken by Anker Innovation to join and grow the Moroccan market, emphasizing the company’s strategy of appealing to youthful, tech-savvy consumers with a wide range of products.
“Anker is fully aware of the youthful, energetic, and tech-savvy nature of the Moroccan consumer base. Thus, we think that the products in our portfolio, particularly the short-term charging headphones and the variety of other products we provide, will appeal to the younger generation financially,” he stated.
Anker charging brands and Anker GaNPrime Series charging products are among the equipment on display.
In a brief synopsis of its cutting-edge charges, Anker stated that it “pioneered the application of this material in charging devices to develop smaller, lighter charges in 2018.”
Their eufy security brand is also present in a few other items, especially the Dual Camera series. This invention is the first line of dual-camera home security systems in the market.
Additionally, this technology is the first home security mesh driven by local AI in history.
The company explained that the new series of devices “features both a wider-angle and a telephoto lens, enhancing the surveillance capabilities.”
Anker’s eufy smart camera is another product that attempts to make smart homes easier to use and more accessible.
Rufy Genie is an Alexa-enabled speaker that is part of the Rufy technology, along with a long range of smart appliances like lights, vacuums, and smart plugs.
Anker also debuted the Liberty 4NC series, its soundcore brand. With the help of this technology, you may minimize outside noise by up to 98.5%. It functions as an earphone.
Anker offers a smart, portable entertainment gadget named Nebula in addition to the innovations that were showcased to the GITEX Africa audience.
Nebula Mars and Nebula Capsule, “the world’s first smart, portable cinema,” are offered by the firm under this technology, according to the Anker website.
