Protiviti recently unveiled ProtivitiGPT, an internal generative AI tool designed for the entire company that will improve the creation of innovative business solutions. All Protiviti staff members now have operational access to the application following the establishment of internal governance and guiding principles. Comprehensive training programs will also improve staff members’ knowledge of and application of artificial intelligence to increase the value of client interactions, promote operational efficiency, and link data and insights to better serve our clients.
Protiviti’s Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Global Solutions, Cory Gunderson, stated, “Protiviti has been advising clients on implementing AI into their business for many years.” Due to this knowledge and the quick development of generative AI as a technology with commercial viability, Protiviti has been coming up with creative ways to solve business challenges. We are responding to our clients’ AI-based needs more quickly by internally implementing our use of generative AI.
Creativity in Motion
With the use of cutting-edge AI components, Protiviti’s strategy helps companies enhance workflows, create new business opportunities, and gain a competitive edge.
With a multinational manufacturer, Protiviti recently unveiled an AI-ML-based solution to enhance its financial and operational procedures in response to price spikes, longer lead times for scheduling, and port backups. Limited visibility into the company’s ability to accurately forecast future increases in ocean freight costs was provided by manual processes.
The client was able to take control of their data for more effective applications because of the solution’s continuous model training. With this base in place, the Protiviti team developed low-error, lane-specific predictive models that offered insights into potential risks and trends in ocean freight costs, which were then utilized for network optimization. This greatly enhanced the client’s capacity to adjust quickly to changes in cost analyses and processes.
The widespread adoption of generative AI has increased client interest in AI-based solutions at a rate never seen before, with Protiviti clients adopting AI-based solutions at a rate four times faster than in 2023, according to Christine Livingston, Global Leader for Artificial Intelligence at Protiviti. “A holistic approach to deploying and managing AI that balances the opportunity and risk of AI is what we recommend as clients seek to engage AI for innovative and transformative applications.”
