The LaBrae Vikings made history by defeating the Crestview Rebels 64–52, snapping a 45-year drought to claim a share of the MVAC Grey Tier championship. In a high-stakes “revenge game,” the Vikings also ended Crestview’s remarkable 49-game conference winning streak and their 16-game road winning streak.
The victory marks a complete turnaround for LaBrae, who suffered a 40-point loss (62–22) to the Rebels earlier this season in December.
Game Recap: The 12–0 Surge
After a defensive battle in the first quarter ended in a 9–9 tie, LaBrae took control in the second.

The Buzzer Beater: Senior Ella Kuszmaul drilled a three-pointer with 1.5 seconds left in the half, sending the Vikings into the locker room with a 27–15 lead.
