BEIJING: LONGi Green Energy Technology, one of the biggest solar manufacturing companies in the world, has received an invitation to establish a plant in Pakistan.
During a Pakistani delegation’s visit to China, Li Zhenguo, the president of LONGi Green Energy Technology, a solar manufacturing company, met with Awais Leghari, the federal energy minister.
The federal energy minister gave a briefing on Pakistan’s solar energy potential at the conference and extended an invitation to develop a solar manufacturing unit, given the nation’s rapid increase in the share of renewable energy.
