Bank of America has appointed Thorsten Pauli as the new Head of Global Capital Markets for Asia-Pacific, reinforcing the bank’s leadership team as it seeks to expand its investment banking presence across one of the world’s fastest-growing financial regions.
Pauli, an experienced capital markets banker, will relocate to Hong Kong in the coming months to oversee the bank’s Asia-Pacific capital markets operations. His appointment follows the retirement of longtime executive Matthew Basler.

Pauli brings more than two decades of experience in equity and capital markets across Europe and Asia.
